Jon has two passions that are the driving force behind his work; the first is to help business owners and leadership teams become their best and the second - which is just a natural result of the first - is to help create fulfilling and engaging work places for their teams. Bridging the gaps between owners, managers and front-line workers is what it comes down to - hence the name - Tribridge.
Over the past 23 years Jon has been a partner in 5 businesses; two successful, and three not so much. It's often said that "sometimes you win – sometimes you learn" and isn't that the truth! For the ten years prior to starting Tribridge, Jon lead an equipment design and manufacturing company with a dedicated business partner (brother) and an incredible integrator. Together, the three of them made huge strides in transforming the culture, developing a great team and growing the business from 1.5 million to 7 million but then hit a ceiling. It became apparent that the two partners were no longer on the same page with where to take the company. After making some tough decisions, scaling back the company and selling off a portion of the business the brothers agreed on a plan for Jon to be bought-out.
After taking some time off with his family, Jon's plan for the next phase of his career began to take shape. While piecing together a plan on how to help companies with team building and employee engagement, he was introduced to EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System®) and it was like a light-bulb went off in his head. Within a week of discovering this simple proven system, he realized it was the glue that tied everything he'd learned about leadership and running a business together into a simple - but not easy - system!
Today Jon works with leadership teams fulfilling those two passions, helping leaders become their best while creating great places to work through implementing EOS in their business! He loves cycling and fishing along with several other sports and lives just north of Toronto, in Barrie Ontario with his beautiful wife Kristin and four wonderful teenage kids – loving life!
